Branding + Website Design

Pretty Moments is a boutique giving women the confidence and knowledge they need to love their bodies in the most intimate way.  Primarily based on providing in person service, PMB is pivoting into the world of e-commerce at breakneck speed due to COVID-19.

The Challenge

Creating a brand new e-commerce experience that also allows customers easy shop from the boutique’s robust collection of intimates, apparel, and accessories while also allowing them to book virtual services, completed within a timeframe of four weeks in anticipation of the boutique’s virtual grand opening event. 

The Approach

I started out my work by interviewing the client to understand her business, her client base,  her competition, and her goals for the business. Based on what I uncovered, I began to iterate on design concepts through mood boards, custom logo design, and additional brand identity elements. I presented the client with a polished presentation along with a rationale for the decision behind the brand element’s selection. I also incorporated examples of how the brand elements could work together in various brand collateral pieces like social media posts, ads, and business cards. Once the branding was complete I began working on the website. Because there was a lot of product to include on the site and a small window of time until the client’s event, I customized a generic template as the base for the site to speed up development. I added additional pages and custom design layouts. Once I website was complete I provided live and recorded walkthroughs of how the client can make changes on her own.

As a result of our work together, Pretty Moments Boutique has a strong brand identity and an e-commerce website that enables the brand to support, educate, and make women of all shapes and sizes around the world feel good in the skin they’re in.
